This sensor is the best choice for your linear imaging needs, whether modifying an existing product, or for a new product. At a pixel resolution of 1024 x 1 and a 7.99 mm imaging length, the device is well suited for a variety of imaging applications. The device features a very high dynamic range and very low noise. Combined with it's ability for non-destructive read out which can be used for signal averaging, the sensor makes an ideal choice for extremely low noise imaging applications such as Spectroscopy.

The Non-Destructive Read Mode enables even higher signal to noise ratios by averaging multiple reads. This device has proven extremely effective for Spectroscopy and other scientific applications.

The Adaptive Exposure mode enables the system to maximize system signal to noise by non-destructively reading the signal as the device integrates.

The device is packaged in a 16 LCC glass lidded package.

The Demonstration Kit is a low cost kit that can be easily used to demonstrate the features and performance of the image sensor. User selectable jumpers enable selection of read out rate, read out mode, and integration time. On-board BNC connectors enable direct connection to oscilloscope or data acquisition system.

The demo kit allows user selectable read rates from 610 Hz to 20 MHz in 16 increments and integration time from µs to several seconds. An optional "CS" mount lens adaptor is also available for $49.00; allows mounting of standard "CS" mount lens to the kit (not included).
